Visitor statistics are an important feedback tool to let you know who is looking at your website. Probably the best statistics are provided by
Google Analytics, which is a free service provided by Google.
This service will tell you just about everything you could possibly need to know about visitors to your website, including what country they are from, which pages they looked at and how long for.
You can only use Google Analytics with your own domain name, so make sure you have mapped a domain name to your FolioStop site (
read how here), and then integrating Google Analytics with your FolioStop site is simple::
1) Create a Google Analytics account (
click here)
2) Get your unique ID provided by Google (eg UA-8271958-5)
3) Add this unique ID into the SEO tab in FolioEdit (where indicated)
Click Save Changes, and that's it!
You will start seeing statistics in your Google Analytics account within 24 hours.
Please Note:1) You cannot integrate Google Analytics at your temporary domain name (eg foliostop.com/yourwebsite), you must use your own domain name.
